If seclusion is what your looking for check out our beautiful rustic cabin in Central Montana.
Our cabin nestled in the Little Belt Mountains of Central Montana allows for one to enjoy the many recreations of nature; go hiking, fishing, hunting, whatever outdoor activity you may enjoy . Enjoy the quiet seclusion with your nearest neighbor being miles away across country. This nearly 750 sq foot cabin is nestled in one of the many valleys that once were home- steaded. Built in 1988 this cabin was built over an existing cabin of the past. The cabin boarders thousands of acres of BLM and national forest and is set on the edge of a working cattle ranch. There is a natural spring within 50 feet of the cabin that provides clean drinkable water. There is no running water to the cabin and there is a nearby outhouse. The cabin has a 12v solar system that powers led lights, usb ports, fridge/freezer and a on-demand water heater for the shower. The system will not run anything 120v. If you still want the rustic cabin feel there are still propane lights and a wood stove for heat. Meals can be cooked using a propane cook stove, wood stove, BBQ outside or over an open flame on a grill in the fire pit.* There is a small pond that is fed by three springs meandering around the cabin area. This location boasts its natural beauty with amazing rock formations, panoramic views of five mountain ranges and beautiful wildlife. The closest paved road is around 20 mi. The closest rural store is around 25 miles or just over one hour away. Roughly 13-17 miles of gravel road depending on how you get to the ranch. From there its seven miles in on a two-track road that takes you around 25 minutes to travel. A Pick-up or tall SUV will make the trek. We do not loan outfits to get up to the cabin. December - March may be difficult to access due to snow. Joel Olson (406) 535-6621 twinsistersrec@gmail.com
